I build software for work I've actually done.
Before software I photographed real estate and moved inventory through online marketplaces. Most of what I build now comes out of those jobs, or out of the box truck I'm slowly converting in the driveway. I got tired of the same bottlenecks and started writing the tools I wanted. Three products are live. I run them through Fungibility LLC, which I started in 2021.
Three products, live and maintained.
Vanometry
A 3D layout planner for van, box truck, and skoolie conversions. Place real components to scale inside your actual vehicle, then get a parts list, weight totals, and cost estimates before cutting a board.
vanometry.com Market dataPowerbuyer
A real-time listing scanner for Etsy resellers. New listings surface within a minute of posting, with keyword filters and Telegram alerts, so you see inventory before it moves.
powerbuyerapp.com Image processingBiziEdit
Automated photo editing for real estate listings. Upload phone shots, get listing-ready images in about forty-five seconds each. Priced per image, no subscription, no minimum.
biziedit.comEvery product started as a problem I already had.

Before
Real estate photography
I shot listings around St. Augustine. The photography was never the hard part. The wait was. Editing turnaround was the bottleneck on every listing, and agents needed images back the same day the property went live. Nothing on the market solved it at a speed or price that worked.

Then
E-commerce and distribution
Sourcing, warehousing, and moving consumer products across online marketplaces. Being early to good inventory decided whether a month worked, so I ended up building internal tools to watch listings for me. Those tools turned out to be the actual business.

2021 to now
Fungibility LLC
I started the company for the e-commerce side and gradually spent more time on software than on inventory, until the software was all that was left. It now develops and operates its own web applications full time: small, focused tools for people running their own businesses.

Ongoing
A box truck in the driveway
Somewhere in there I started converting an Isuzu NPR 16-foot box truck into an off-grid studio apartment. It's roughly half finished. I don't live in it and I'm not planning to, but I like knowing it's there. A tiny home that makes its own power is a reasonable safety net, and if the software income keeps climbing it would be a good way to travel.
What I actually needed was a way to know the bed, the battery bank, and the galley would all fit before I committed to a cut. Everything I could find was either a napkin sketch or full CAD, so I built the thing in between.
→ became Vanometry
A few things I've settled on.

Build for work you understand
The products that worked came from problems I had hit personally. I know what an agent does at 9pm before a listing goes live, and what it costs to be second to a good lot. That beats market research I'd have to guess at.
-
Narrow beats broad
Each product does one thing completely rather than five things partially. It keeps them fast, cheap to run, and possible for one person to support without the whole thing collapsing.

Answer your own email
Support goes to me. There's no tier system and no queue. It's the fastest feedback loop I've found for figuring out what's actually broken.
Happy to hear from you.
